Aqweeva builds practical, secure, and forward-looking software solutions for businesses that want tools they can truly use and grow with.
What began as a small startup in Seattle has evolved into a long-running software company focused on workplace tools, merchant systems, gift cards, loyalty, and customer engagement platforms.
Aqweeva® began as a small startup in Seattle with a mission to simplify workplace communication and customer engagement through innovative software solutions.
One of the first products was Checkout, later rebranded as EzOutBoard. It was designed to help office receptionists track which employees were out of the office, where they had gone, and when they were expected to return. It was a simple but useful solution that brought visibility and organization to busy office environments.
Building on that momentum, Aqweeva explored a Building Directory System — a digital lobby display intended to show building information, tenant listings, and office locations. Although that project was short-lived due to technology limitations at the time, it helped set the stage for later innovation.
From there, Aqweeva developed additional software solutions including:
Due to the success of AGCS, the product was later evolved into a web-based platform: NetGCS. That platform remains in production today and continues to be used by loyal customers across the United States.

Aqweeva’s early software focused on practical office communication and workflow visibility, solving everyday operational problems.
AGCS helped establish Aqweeva in the merchant software space and opened the door to more scalable gift card and loyalty solutions.
In 2016, Aqweeva committed to rebuilding NetGCS with modern technologies, stronger security practices, and a more scalable architecture.
Aqweeva is continuing to expand its focus on tools for small to medium-sized businesses, delivering software that benefits both merchants and cardholders.
With an evolving mobile-friendly gift card experience, cardholders will be able to securely access digital gift cards on their phones while merchants benefit from a more flexible and modern loyalty ecosystem.
The goal is to preserve the value and familiarity of traditional gift cards while adding convenience, resilience, and better long-term customer experiences.
Aqweeva sees this as an important part of the future of gift cards and customer loyalty: more convenience for customers, more flexibility for merchants, and less friction overall.
Aqweeva continues to expand its cloud-based Gift, Reward, Loyalty, and Punch Point virtual card services for modern merchants.
Businesses can still choose to use traditional plastic gift cards, while also gaining access to newer digital experiences through the web and future companion mobile tools.
The result is a more flexible system that supports both familiar workflows and the next generation of customer engagement.
